Default HD3 with HD Accel + Process card? (Hackintosh)

Anyone running an PTHD rig with a combination of Accel and Process cards? Ive been smooth sailing with my HD2 Hackintosh rig for a few years now. I just added an Accel card, and I cannot get them to work together.

Core + Accel works fine.
Core + Process works fine.
Core + Accel + Process = crashes!

Ive switched the order but same problem.

Does anyone have experience with this PTHD card combination on a Hackintosh?

No, but I can confirm that the order of HD cards need to be Core-->Accel-->Process

Im thinking that the HD Process card is not compatible with the HD Accel card. Is that a known issue? Anyone using both cards?

Of course I tried the correct order, then switched them just in case it was a hackintosh thing. Made no difference.

maybe your power supply isn't rated high enough?

mixing PCI/PCIX and PCIe cards? or all they all PCI/PCIX slots
I had mixed cards in G4s so it should work but I think I remember something about card revisions and early cards not working in a mixed rig.

Thanks for the input...

Power supply is good to go, it should support HD4. All PCIX cards. Im thinking it might be revision/early card related, based off the fact that both work independently. Im running an unsupported rig, so obviously there are other possibilities.

I swapped flex cables too, confirmed its not that.

checking card revisions should be your next step
I don't know if Avid will still upgrade them, they use to but given the age of the cards I wouldn't hold my breath

Aw, no way would I expect that. I think Im at least 5 years too late and running an unsupported computer. But I too remember an incompatibility between old and newer revisions. Thats the only thing that makes sense with all the troubleshooting Ive done.

Are you sure all your PCI slots are using the same chip? What's the mobo?

Most likely only three of your PCI slots are "native" and the others are bridged or emulated PCI.
