Default 7.1.2 interleaved files issue

Is anyone having issues with 7.1.2 files? On 'import audio' protools splits out the files into 10 monos but puts them in the wrong order. When I drag them on a 7.1.2 track I've made the centre and right channels are swapped.

Any ideas?

What did you use to make the 7.1.2 interleaved file?

I have seen a similar error with audio coming out of Premiere as a 5.1 interleaved (SMPTE) where PT is reading the file as Film.

I'm used sometimes 7.1 interleaved files with no problems!
Why 7.2, who is using this?
May be its better to work with monofiles in this configuration?

Protools is always using film order tracks. So the import might be correct, you have to re-order the mono tracks into film order before dragging it to the multichannel track.
