Win10/PT2018.4.0 Video Engine Reported an error.
Updated to 2014.3 (I think) and could not play videos. Updated 2018.4.0 which said the issue was addressed and still getting The Video Engine reported an error. Tried the PT12/Win10 work arounds (http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/e...ine-Windows-10) with no success. Other KB articles do not seem to apply.
Tried rebooting (many times), running as admin, etc. with no luck. Simplest reproducible. From fresh reboot, I create a new session, import a simple mov, the thumbnails and audio tracks are created and displayed, but get error when I attempt to play the video. Sandra report is attached. Thanks...

Re: Win10/PT2018.4.0 Video Engine Reported an error.
If you have tried all of the KB article workarounds, then I would open a support ticket with Avid so they can review the logs and see what issue your system is having.
