I almost forgot:

I would be very pleased if we had more than 32 tracks.

maybe 48 would be great, 64 even better, unlimited the ultimate so we wouldn't need to do another petition in less than 6 months.

I am all for this, I would even pay a couple hundred bucks upgrade for this, the one thing that really gets to me is that Digi won't give us an answer as to why they havn't, and most companies show more prefrence to long time users of a product, Digi only gives there free upgrades to newer users.

oh well, I am going to a demo of the new version tonight, and I hope a Digi rep is there so I can ask face to face why they havn't, so they can't hide behind a computer screen

Well all, I went to the Mixing with Protools Demo here in Cincinnati, and I asked Jeff a Great Digidesign Sales rep Point Blank, is Protools LE ever going to be updated so we can have more playback track.

Answer..........YES, I was told that the reps where hoping it was going to be in 7 but other things took priority, but They are listning to us, and they know they HAVE to do it, he said look for it sometime this comming year.

So I see that as a good Sign

You can count me in!!!

I own the 001 and it works great for now. Once I start seeing new features such as 48+ tracks and PDC they will convince me to upgrade to the 002, 002R, or (003?).

Come on Digi...you scratch our back and we'll scratch yours........

Thats what I was told also. Hopefully by NAMM in January.

Pro Tools OO1 was recently upgraded to 32 tracks capability. Eventually, Digi will give us 48 tracks since each additional succeeding pro-tools software has additional features and improvements as time goes by.

Not if, but when is the question.
