Tracks Don't Receive Input As Expected

Hello. Mid session, I'll occasionally stumble upon a situation where audio doesn't seem to properly get received on the armed track, or be monitored audibly as it was just moments before. Whats even stranger, is that sometimes, if I have a handful of tracks with the same input assignment, some tracks will receive the audio correctly once the track is armed, and others will not. Usually, restarting pro tools and my Omni will correct this issue. But it's frustrating for this to happen at random mid session. I'm convinced this is a glitch, or possibly a firmware issue with Omni. (Although I'm up to date). Has anyone else experienced this?
