** UPDATE **

Got my MP back from the shop. They replaced the "B" graphics card. So far, everything seems good, but I was never able to trigger the crash on demand, so we'll wait and see.

Mine is being repaired by Apple at the moment. It's been over a week and all they're doing is replacing graphics card A. I called today and spoke to the manager telling her that they didn't do anything on my machine for a whole week. She apologized and said it should be ready by tomorrow. We'll see.....this has been one of the most frustrating experiences for me personally. I don't even trust the "techs" there that seem to have just graduated high school. They could give me the graphics cards and let me swap them in 20 minutes.

Yeah, I hear ya. Lucky for me I took it to a certified apple repair shop, where a friend of mine works. She took it in, did what she had to do to verify the part needed replacing and then ordered the part. But then she gave me the MP back so I could keep working until the part arrived. Then we scheduled a day for me to bring it in (my day off) and she had it back to me in less than 6 hours. So, that was a big plus for me!

** Update **

Had a bad crash today. Screen froze and then display tan, vertical lines. Called Apple, they're looking for a more "permanent solution"...whatever that means.
