Hey,

I'm in need of a LtRt Plugin, too. I think the cheapest way of doing it is with the Dolby Atmos Production Suite for 299$.
Could anyone confirm this?

Cheers
Maik

I thought that was just for Atmos production.

I use Surcode, simply because it's what I bought when we were moving away from hardware years ago.

You are sure?
I do not use it until now, but if I look in the user guide:
https://www.waves.com/1lib/pdf/plugi...0-surround.pdf

You have many posibilities and I think you can make with the Phase Option, Panner’s and Imager’s a LtRt downmix too, I looks like this! :)
Yes, otherwise SoundCode or Minnetonkaaudio SurCode will works good too! :)

Or if you have no money, you can make the encoding manually, its not so difficult!

We are. If you read the user guide it doesn't mention encode/decode, it only mentions Stereo (ITU) which is NOT LtRt.

Yes, you can do it manually.

In the Wavetools are no a directly preset, but I thought you can build this with the options?

Encoding manually

Decoding is difficult, if you want to listen the downmix in Dolbymode, you need a external reciever or a dolby decoder plugin.

Encoding here:

-----
Creating an LtRt signal is very similar to creating LoRo--at first. The LFE channel is discarded, then left channel and center channel (at -3 dB) are added, and then the right channel and the center channel (at -3 dB) are added. Handling the surround channels marks the point of departure from similarity. Left surround and right surround are added together to create a single "S" signal. This S signal is added out of phase (180 degrees) to the left and center signal to create Lt, and added in phase (zero degrees) to right and center signal to create Rt.
