Hmmm is throwing a loop pack at your customers that includes metadata to help "find" loops truly a new innovative feature? Is adding revision history truly a new innovative feature? Does Avid read the idea scale? Does Avid look at what other DAW software has been doing for the past 5 years that includes way more innovative features? Software that, BTW, is not a subscription service. Is it any wonder all we get from Avid is the shuffling of the leadership deck and evidence of minimal investment in actually improving the product? No wonder their stock is in the toilet.

Ok Avid, take notes, here's a simple value-add feature that would be simple to add yet doesn't exist in Pro Tools...

Strangely you can import m4a AAC files in Pro Tools but you can't bounce to them. You can only bounce a MP3 file which, these days, most of us HATE! Why can't you bounce to Apple iTunes+ AAC m4a in Pro Tools directly? Not a big deal to find another third party program to do this, but for what we pay, shouldn't this simple feature be included?

Throwing a loop pack at us is the equivalent of saying "let them eat cake." Who agrees?

How about fix window scrolling?

"Page" just doesn't work, "center playhead" and "continuous" only work for a couple minutes. If I'm recording I don't want to interact with the GUI for fear of interrupting the recording with a mis-click. Don't make me scroll and zoom manually just so I'm able to keep an eye on things. Especially when it's impossible to get any useful information from a zoomed-out state when I'm recording several hours of material in one take.
