Repeat Not Working

I am trying to get Repeat to work on some commands and it doesn't seem to work. I am using Cubase 7.5.

An example of what I want to accomplish is: Step forward in the song one bar. There is a command for this (Step Bar), and I want to be able to hold it down and have the command repeat.

Here's the repro

1. Go to softkeys
2. Select Touchscreen
3. Select the key to program
4. Click Command
5. Select EUCON -> Key Commands -> Transport -> Step Bar
6. Click Repeat
7. Select 3 Times per Second
8. Set Initial Delay at 500ms

I was able to get it working with the touch screen, but it doesn't work with the soft buttons. It will only repeat 2 bars no matter what repeat settings I use.

Yes, I am seeing exactly what you are. Two bars, no more.

same behaviour here for all EuControl V3 Versions. Maximum two repeats .Last Version it worked for me was 2.6.2

Correction: It's working in Version 2.7.1 as well, but still no luck in any of the 3.* versions

Just as a work around - in Cubase, I use the so called "markers" to jump to a specific part of the song.

These markers are allocatable to the softbuttons and with all songs it will be allocated as well. So just once you have to program about 18 markers (3 rows with the softbuttons) and furthermore with all songs using the markers, it's allocated automatically.

Sadly, after 3 years, this is still not fixed. I just opened another support case with Avid about this:

The Repeat key functionality (manual page 21) seems to be broken, at least for Numpad keys, on the Artist Transport on EUControl 3.5.0. This is very unhandy when having to perform excessive nudging, requiring a *lot* of key presses on the Numpad (which can't be good for the Transport unit either).
