iLok ID number? How do I know what it is?

I'm trying to download some trial software that requires my Ilok id number. I bought protools 10 about a month ago and registered it so the Ilok would work but I have no idea what the 2 sets of Ilok ID numbers are that the downoload is asking for.

Any ideas?

Usually, demo software is looking for your iLok ID so they can deposit a temp license into your iLok account, which you then download to your iLok. Try the name you use to log onto your iLok account.

Hey Albee, yeah thats the problem, I dont remember ever logging into Ilok.com. I registered pro tools but I have no recolection of Ilok. And when I enter my 2 different email addresses it does not recognize either. I registered Protools from the Avid site. So I'm not sure what to do next.

Well, I would try and give customer service at iLok a call to see if they can help you. Nobody here will be able to tell you your iLok ID.

You must have at least once logged in to your iLok account. Somehow the license must have landed on your dongle, right?
If you don't remember your ID, it's like Obsidian Dragon says - noone here can help you.

The User ID is what you use to Sign In at ilok.com.

If you don't know your User ID, please click the "Forgot password or User ID?" link at ilok.com.
