Default LFE / Sub metering

Hello,

Just a quick question regarding LFE channel metering.

What are typical, or normal level for a LFE/sub rumble as not to overpower the rest of the mix?

I'm mixing a low budget short where the director has asked for a very specific low frequency rumble. But I just wanted to get a ballpark how you all mix something like this?

Specifically RMS levels, or any other ways, advice etc..

Calibrate your system (I use the ATSC test tones since I do a lot of broadcast TV), and then mix to taste.

And after the Lfe calibration, maybe play/rip the Bluray of "Megamind" : https://www.gearslutz.com/board/post...-blu-rays.html
To get a rough idea.
