Did you do any kind of update to the ILM?
I just downloaded & installed the Soundtoys freebie plate reverb plugin. On first opening the plugin it asked to be authorized and went through the iLok business no problem. Was never asked to update ILM. Nor was I notified there was an update.
I wonder if there's going to be a time-bomb thing like happened a couple of months ago where people got blindsided and lost use of several of their plugins due to a necessary ILM update that no one ever got a heads-up on.

I did the same with Little Plate 5 and was asked to update ILM - and did. No issues yet. PT 12.4 - and staying there until the Batch Fade issue is fixed and the majority says the update that does is solid - on Windows 10 FCU.

I just opened ILM to enter a new serial and the update window popped up. I discovered about Little Plate later.

Anybody know when this 4.x update dropped? I'm assuming when you say enter a new s/n you're talking about a new iLok right? little less than a month ago I activated my second iLok and got no update notice. And certainly when I got the Little Plate and checked my iLok no update was needed.

No, I was simply going to enter the serial # of a series of plugins I was invited to beta test.

This update (according to PTE) was released around 15-17th october I believe.

Still haven't updated for atleast 4 months as our systems works great. I will wait until I have to so please let us know what issues if any occur. Pace ain't the best when it comes to releases as it seem to be atleast one major screwup every year.

When I opened PT 10.3.10 yesterday it forced me to upgrade iLok Version Manager. PT would not complete initialization unless I did. Ever since every time I open PT 10 it crashes and reboots my W7 PC when it starts the plug-in load sequence.

Contacted iLok support and they said "it's not our problem". Yeah right.

And, of course, to report this to Avid I have to pay for a case and no doubt they will say its PACE's problem.

Any one know how to fix this?

I think you need to address this with Pace as its most likely an issue for them and not Avid. Do you have any older iLok installers saved? If so, disconnect the internet and uninstall the current(non-working) version and install an older build. As an alternative possible solution, uninstall Pro Tools(with the HD driver if that's an option) and re-run the PT installer(using the Run as Admin option) as that will also re-install Pace(which might iron out whatever the current problem is).
