Default Automation Problem

Greeting PT Users!

I've recently uprgraded from Pro Tools 9 to 11, and I've noticed that sometimes I've run into this problem where the automation editing (or cut/paste editing) I'm doing on one audio track (e.g. main volume, trim plugin volume) is effecting the automation on two or more audio tracks. I do not have the tracks in a Group, and I even 'Suspeneded' Groups to test it, but still the Automation Editing and Cut/Paste Editing seem to act like I'm editing Grouped tracks.

How can I be editing multiple tracks without them be grouped? Is this a bug in Pro Tools 11 or am I inadvertently turning on some function that allows this?

Thanks for any help.

I have not seen this myself. Which version of PT is this (11.x.x)?

11.3.1 is the latest and it's been out for months now.
That being said do you somehow have more than just the one track you're editing selected?
