PROFIRE 610 NOT WORKING!! Reward for solution!!

@YYR123 Pro tools and system preferences recognize the unit, but the meter display on the screen doesn't register any input and the green LED's on the front of the interface doesn't register any input.

Sounds fried - if u were working before this sounds like it's a door stop now - good news is that the pro fires have come down In recent months

I agree, it sounds like you will be needing to get it repaired or replaced. If it is under warranty you should contact M-Audio: http://www.m-audio.ca/index.php?do=support.support-form If not, it would probably be cheaper to get a new device.

I was afraid that it might be fried. I don't know if I want to get another 610 or something better. I really liked the pre-amps on the 610. Anyone have any suggestions?

I use 610 and 2626. I'd get mbox3 if i needed a replacement

I have a 2626 myself and I'm happy with the device. The big thing I would look for is support, M-Audio have been VERY slow at releasing drivers for devices over the last couple of years. If I where looking, I'd find the device that most matches my needs from Avid, Focusrite, Motu or Pre Sonus.
