I'm replacing my V1 with a V2 Tuesday, simply because the touchscreen is supposedly much better, as well as the 8 rotary encoders which are more sensitive.

I hope this is true because I like to use these two features a LOT to access plug in parameters and to assign audio routings and editing in general.

Cheers

How much will the difference be money wise?

There is no upgrade path to V2 right now.

So I am selling my V1 unit for 900USD, and buying the new one for 1480 incl. shipping.

Difference? = 580.

Part of the cost or having a studio up to date. Not too bad considering my V1 is now 1.5 years old.

Cheers

I am enjoying it. A lot. Much more sensitive than the previous version.

On Friday I also get a 60" LCD display... so I'll be all lit up for the next record, plus the World Cup!

Cheers
