Structure can't find ilok license/ crashes patch

I just bought Structure and I cannot get it to work properly. I reinstalled several times and did everything I could find on this forum (deleting prefs , uninstalling Structure etc.). I've been working on this for more than a day now and I almost had it. I plan to sell it again if noone comes up with a solution.
I have no network drives attached.

Structure starts up and I can use the initial patch (sine wave), I can load a wav file by dragging from PT.
BUT when i want to open a patch from the browser, I get a message that I have no ilok license (although it's there and working fine). I also cannot find the samples for every patch. When I try to search for them or locate them in the 'Choose root directory for missing files'-window , Structure cannot find the samples. When I hit cancel, my whole system crashes and I get the transparant window 'You need to restart'.

Any suggestions?
