Default recording in shuttle mode

can I record in shuttle mode i.e. shuttle moves?

I've looked through all the articles and manuals and nothing seems to be giving me the info I need....

Anyone got any advice?

Default Re: recording in shuttle mode

Sure... However you'll need another recorder/interface.
I use Logic or Melodyne...with a MOTU 896 (PT's Analog -outs to 896-analog in's).
(Not clocked to Pro Tools).
Patch---record---then scratch in PT's.
Works great..!
