Help with talkback mic setup . . .

There was a post on the DUC that I can't seem to find. It had to do with a technique concerning a talkback mic setup. Basically it detailed how to make the talkback mic automatically mute whenever you pressed play whether you have auto input on or not. Can anybody help?

Place a gate which is keyed off the music across the aux track which you're using for talkback... in the old days, we used to use the SMPTE off the 2" to key the gate.. but you should be able to do it with almost any audio track(s) in your session.
