Default is 9.x going to still get some attention

I have 9 months before I can even think of rolling out PT 10 to our 120 rigs?

It would be foolish to alienate everyone who is waiting on full Lion approval.

Avid has never left us with a beta for OS compatibility.

What would make you say that?

I can unequivocally say that we're continuing to roll out updates to 9 - I know because I'm part of the team working on those updates.

120 rigs? Where do you work, what do you do, and are you hiring.

A major release comes out... the main focus (if not all) will be on that release.

Being I just purchased PT 9 less than 2 months ago... I sincerely hope so and will hold you to your word...

I can't speculate about release dates, but it's something that's in the works currently.
