Whats the best way to save my tuned vocal track to another track so I can edit it. I have melodyne on the original vocal as an insert. Thanks

To do so, simply select new track... in the Audio Output Path selector.

Re: Printing melodyne track
Hi. Thanks for the reply. I did not fully understand, but this is what i did.
Created new mono track. Routed the Tuned vocal via the mixer I/O to the new track and recorded the tuned vocal to the new track. Does that sound correct? Thanks |

Re: Printing melodyne track
That's correct. Create a new mono audio track, route the output from the track with Melodyne on it to the input of the new mono track, record arm the new mono track, record. I usually make the Melodyne track inactive and hide it afterwards, just in case I want to go back and tweak later on.

Just in case anyone is still interested in this topic, I have made a video that shows an even smoother way of printing Melodyne then anyone has mentioned yet.

Re: Printing melodyne track
Making your edits in the standalone version lets you save all your edits as a separate file too, that you can import to your session later. I know it's nice to edit against the rest of the track, but sometimes that isn't necessary.
