Default dae error -9060 on PT 8.0.3 and W7 64bit

Hello.

I'm plagued with DAE error -9060 messages after installing Windows 7 and PT 8.0.3. Running XP on the same system (but with PT8.0.1cs1) never gave me these 9060 error messages and ran smoothly.

I get the messages after either using stock PT AudioStuite or RTAS plugins. Simple AudioSuite plugins like Gain induces there error messages. It's not critical, but very annoying. PT stops playback. I have to click away the error messages, and start playback again. Then it works. But using the AudioSuite (gain, normalize, eq, etc) again gives me the error message

Anybody else have these problems ?

As you can se I'v only got internal disks. System (W7) + programs are on the 128 GB SSD disk. I'm recording to the 60GB SSD disk. Could this be a problem ?

I don't know if I"ll be of any help to you, but the only times I've had a 9060 error was when I had a corrupt audio file or corrupt fade file.

Do you have a non-SSD to record to just to compare?

I just had this same problem on an XP Pro SP3 PT 8.0.1cs1 set up. And found only the usual answers did you read the knowledge base? do you have background services that should not be there? etc.

What worked to solve this issue for me was to delete the database and prefs.

But that alone was not enough.

Deleting the WaveCache.wfm and the Fade Files folder from the session that first gave me problems was the solution.

Now all sessions open as should.

Hope this helps someone.

I'm having a similar problem. I've upgraded my pc to a AMD II x2 running Wins 7 and running a M Box 2 Mini. Everything seemed to be working fine until I loaded in the free BFD Lite. It worked for while and then started saying the DAE was low on memory and showing error 9060! It also effects a couple of other plug-ins stopping them from running but all others are fine. Surely Avid must sort this out????
Any ideas?
