Default \"Access violation accured\" in protools - mbox1

Hi! I´m an owner of a newly bought M-box 1. The problem is that when I have installed protools/reason and so on (...) I plug in the m-box and open protools, what happens is that a window occures and says that "Access violation accured". From there i cant do nothing. Can´t even close the program because "Access violation accured". I have tried to close all virus-programs but no change. Does anyone have a clue what to do?

(Excuse me if my spelling is´nt correct)

With regards, Mike

First, you're in the wrong forum. The MBox uses Pro Tools LE. This is the forum for Pro Tools MPowered, the Pro Tools software that works with MAudio hardware. You will have better luck getting answers/solutions if you post in the proper thread. Most of the people who read and post in this thread wouldn't know about the mbox/LE, as they aren't using it.

Second, you should check out the General Troubleshooting thread over in the LE forum. Make sure you try all of the suggestions in that thread, starting with making sure your computer and parts are compatible, and up to and including posting detailed specifications about your computer using SiSoft Sandra.
