Some 3rd party companies use ilok like slate & softube. I'm not sure if bfd uses ilok but I would make sure you can get these included factory plugins working before buying anything else.. Boom, xpand2 and structure free should not need an ilok license as they are included with your software.

I have Addictive drums, EZdrummer and SD2 all working on my machine. All use a code to authorize and all have been fine(no issues at all). If you are just getting into using a drum VI, I recommend Addictive Drums as the best starter for a few reasons. #1-its a bargain if you get it on sale. #2-it has a nicer way to search thru the pre-made loops. #3-it splits out to individual tracks easier than the others(my opinion). #4-it integrates with electronic kits very well(with mapping presets for Roland and Yamaha).
