Audio to MIDI
When tracking drums, I often want to trigger the kick and snare with MIDI samples. Coming from Logic where the feature is "built in" I just wonder:
Whats the best way to do it in Pro Tools 8 HD ? Someone said Massey DTM but that is discontinued now. |

Ok, Drumtracker seems good, but standalone...to much hazzle.
Maybe Pro Tools 8.1 comes up with a proper soundreplacer feature. |

Also, Steven Slate Trigger, while a traditional drum replacer, also has a way to output to midi.
