Does NI stuff even work with PT 8? As of PT 8, I lost Guitar Rig and when I went to Kontakt 3.5 PT would no longer open! When I removed it from my plugins, PT started working again.

Well, I'm tempted as well! Komplete 4 with all the latest updates has been reasonably ok. but FM8 will black screen my mac most times i try to use it!!

Kontakt and Pro 53 and Battery have been fine in PT 8.0.1 and Kontakt is now the player for most of their stuff; akoustik piano/electrik piano etc. shame they are dropping Pro 53! its one of their best products

But if they get them working 100% in PT then they are invaluable.

I am tempted to upgrade myself. I am on a PPC machine still running 7.4 and Komplete 2. The update is only $169, so it is kind of hard to pass up. I am tempted to get it even though it they say it only compatible with intel machines. Does this mean that there are no UB's included?

I think it would be worth the upgrade for me if just Battery 3, and FM8 worked. I would love all of the extra features of Battery 3, and would love to be able to use FM7 again which I abandonded after 7.4. Plus, later on when I upgrade to an intel machine, I'll be ready to go.

Does anyone know if the installers for Battery 3, and FM8 from Komplete 4 would work in 7.4 since they did in one of the last versions of Komplete? Or are they no longer including those UB? Probably a question for Native Instruments, but I can't get an answer from them...

I have Komplete 5 and 6, they both work just fine in PT.

Kontakt 4 is really great! I love what they have done with that PI.

I have Pro-53, B4 II all running on Snow Leopard with no problems.

I would say it's worth the upgrade price just on Guitar Rig 4 alone.

Never mind the fact that you still get K4, A5, FM8, Battery 3, Massive and Reaktor 5!

NI is really dedicated on making their plugins work well on every platform now.
