Melodyne is crashing PT HD 8.0.1

Does anyone know the work around or fix for this? We updated to Melodyne Editor and still not working like it did in 7.4

I am still using PTHD 7.4 and Melodyne crashes on me all the time Latest updates and all using Uno. I was considering upgrading to the Essential version, but......

If you mean plug-in, mine isn't working great either. It works but will freak out occasionally.

I'm on a PPC with 8.0.1 and Melodyne still does the "play after hit stop" routine for me and ALWAYS has.
On my combination they have never been able to fix this. It's years now with this bug.
One of the reasons I refuse to update and the main reason why I don't use Melodyne much anymore. (the plug).
Sometimes Melodyne will just play by itself when the transport is stopped.
I can be upstairs making a coffee and I'll hear it start downstairs. Crazy.

Is anyone else seeing this "play after hit stop" behavior?
I posted about a year ago and there were some others with the same problem.
Anyone on Intel seeing this?

Yeah I have the same play after stop and random plays, just upgraded to essential RTAS still does it !!

PPC PT's 8.01cs1, OS 10.5.8
Mel Studio and Editor working fine here.
If you beta tested then manually remove the Beta Editor.
Also remove the Plug-in version, however this should have been removed when installing editor.

As always the usual Mac/PT's soft maintenance after any install.

the new editor works fine here on 8.01 but you still need to have only one pocessor selected in playback engine.otherwise system goes down

Yes, I'm having all the same issues.. This sucks, PT8 works great until I initiate this plug.. It seemed to work fine in 7.4, it wasn't perfect, but way better than 8.. Digi or anyone else know of anything that can help make this work better would be greatly appreciated..

Did you try mixer's suggestion?
