Unhappy Pro Tools 9 Plug-In Presets Issue

Hi,

First of all, I know there is another thread on this, but, nobody has managed to find a fix for it and it has died down completely, so I'm trying to "revive it"!

I just upgraded to Pro Tools 9 the other day and I've carried out all the updates to 9.0.3. I soon noticed that all the presets for every plug-in have disappeared. I've tried re-routing the folder but they still don't show up. It's beginning to frustrate me. I've tried the simple things such as trashing the Pro Tools pref files, re-routing the root folder, restarting Pro Tools, etc. but nothing.

Can anyone help?

Kind Regards,

Kyri

Did you Repair Permissions after installing Pro Tools?

I did, yes. I've just done it again though and it works...for some of them that is. For some reason my Waves plug-ins don't show up with any of my custom presets. Do they need to go in a different location?

Some plug-in developers do not keep user plug-in settings. It is best to back these up. I don't use Waves plug-ins so I'm unsure whether Waves retains user plug-in settings.
