Probably not. The upgrade path to either 6.9 or 7.x is so cheap that they probably won't go back and fix compatibility for 10.3.9 and above. 10.3.8 works fine. If you really want to stick with LE 6.4, why not stay at OS 10.3.8? Or if you are already at 10.3.9, you can download the Quicktime 6.5.2 reinstaller from the Apple site.

I would recommend upgrading to 6.9/10.3.8 anyway. That was a very stable combo for me. I upgraded to LE7 because I wanted new features and I wanted to upgraed my OS to Tiger. Afther the usual growing pains, I've been stable now for a while. Good luck.
