Default S3 I/O Not working with Ventura

My new Mac Studio Ultra came with Ventura installed. It won't recognize the S3 audio I/O. All of the faders work when I use the Daw, but no sound at all. I can get sound from the built-in, and the computer monitor, but not the sound cards. I'm wondering if there's any workarounds to this problem?
p.s. It also doesn't recognize my Yamaha 01V96i either.

Well, at least I did get the 01V working. Still no sound from the S3.

Ventura still supports AVB, we're just about to qualify Carbon with it actually.

Don't forget the S3 needs to be placed in Studio Mode.

It should be connected directly to the mac OR going through an AVB compatible switch/router. MOST switched are not AVB compatible, you need to get specific ones for this purpose.

If you are using an ethernet adapter, it needs to be a thunderbolt adapter, not a USB C one. USB C does not carry AVB, even though they have the same form factor as TB3.

Make sure you are looking in Audio Midi Setup - Network Devices, you need to check the S3 here
first before it will appear as an audio device.

Start here and give us some more details so we can help further.

I am happy to report, that the S3 AVB Interface is working for me in Ventura again. I found out, that after upgrading, the AVB/EAV Mode was disabled in the system preferences/network settings/ethernet/details/hardware...
After enabling AVB and a restart, the S3 is working as AVB Audio Interface again...You only have to activate the S3 in the Network Devices in the Audio Midi Setup again...

I copy this into to the other thread too...

Please look in your network settings, if AVB is enabled for your Ethernet Device...

Thanks, I just realized that my adapter is USB-C. I ordered the Thunderbolt version. Thanks so much for the advice!
