Default Sub Woofer recommendations

Looking to upgrade my Subwoofer in my studio. I am currently using an M&K5310. Was looking at a single 18" Powered BagEnd. My room is about 18x24X10. Looking for more headroom. Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance.

Peter

What about another M&K? If you've got the space, side by side will give you another 5-6 db of headroom.

M&K was out of business and I can't tell if they are actually back yet. You could look for a used one.

I know Joe Milner has a Bag End, don't remember the model.

Why not a JBL 4641 18"?

Maybe something will come up on eBay. VideoGon is a resource, too. I brought it up as a potentially cheaper fix than a new one.
