Default DeVinci Resolve and ProTools?

The company I work for is investigating moving from Premier to DaVinci Resolve. Are there any issues I need to be aware of when it comes to getting sessions into ProTools? Ie: does the AAF work properly?

Thanks

I have dark tales to tell you, and horrifying secrets to share: missing media, tracks out of sync, complete lack of crossfades, no clip gain whatsoever!

But seriously, after a lot of investigation, I was able to iron out the bugs with the production company and we found an okay workflow for a series I mixed. I requested a poly WAV in addition to the AAF so I could visually check for missing media and sync issues. I contacted Blackmagic during all of this and made it very clear to them that if they want to be taken seriously by us, they need to fix that app. Run tests before deciding. The only app that makes good AAFs is Media Composer.

I've exported tons of AAFs successfully from Resolve. OK, some things do get broken in some versions, but broadly speaking nothing that can't be fixed, and certainly no worse than AAFs I've had from MC.

I think a lot of it is how to do with the early stages of how a project is setup, and the editor. This is why I usually make the AAF myself and charge it to the client!
