Default inquiries relating to Mbox Pro

so, frustrating that this is released so soon after the mbox 2, does anyone know if Digi will offer some kind of upgrade path?

What about all those people who paid out for the mbox and mbox 2, paying over the odds because of the software - do we have to pay full price again? what do we do with the hard/software we already own?
Seems the mbox pro should have been the mbox 2, had Digi bothered to listen to users of the original mbox (firewire please, we all cried!)

anyone have any info...?

The MBox2pro is NOT a replacement for the MBox2. It is in a totally different price range. There is no upgrade path right now, but who knows what the future will hold.

To add to the above post, what about people who bought the original mbox?? I own one, and I'm willing to buy the mbox 2 pro as soon as possible! I don't care how expensive it is, I haven't spent much for upgrades for a few years! And what about the old software discs? Sell them, man. Or hey, if you already have PT LE 7.x versions, sell the new discs for just a little less than they're worth ($75 normally)!

At the current moment, this is the only LE hardware exchange they have (the LE Turbocharge exchange, until Dec.20). It is a very good deal.
