Making the OSX leap
I'm running a 15" 867 Tibook with 1 gig of ram. The question I have is, if I go ahead and upgrade to OSX will I see a performance enhancement? I have need for the DV Toolkit and would love the stability that X supposedly provides. If I go ahead and do this, do I need to use the 6.0.2 upgrade and then go to 6.1 or can I go straight to 6.1? Thanks for your help.

Re: Making the OSX leap
I saw a definite performance enhancement on my ibook. But be aware that you're jumping into a new way of doing things, new version of PT, and a new OS. Happy recording!

Re: Making the OSX leap
Thanks Clorox, I was hoping for an answer from you. What about jumping straight to 6.1 as opposed to 6.0.x then 6.1. Any other pointers you'd make in regards to the new way of doing things? Thanks in advance.
