I can't launch PT LE 7.3 on MacBook

I bought an MBox 2 Pro with PT LE 7.3 sw but after installing the sw I can't launch it. The PT LE logo appears for a sec, then immediately comes the message " PT unexpectedly quit" and that is all.
The MacBook is 2G/2GB RAM 60GB HD. I have tried to do this process on OS 10.4.8 combo intel and 10.4.9 combo intel too, but there is always the same.
Now I try an intact 10.4.8 combo only with PT sw, but nothing has changed.
Have somebody a good idea? Digidesign support has not yet!

Please start with the steps in the OS X Setup and General Troubleshooting sticky at the top of this forum, specifically those areas on trashing preference and database files.

Most likely this is a corrupted preference and trashing those files should allow it to launch properly.

I went through all the point what you suggested ran the support utility tools also, but they didn't help.
I'm running on a newly installed OS 10.4.8 combo intel system, and there are no other applications on my disk.
Launching PT LE 7.3 makes an error message "PT unexpectedly quit"... [email protected]

I basicly have the same problem with my new MacBook (2.16GHz, 2GB, 100GB Hd) running OSX 10.4.10 and ProTools M-Powered 7.3.1cs4. Fresh installtion...no other plugins, no other software.

Your problem is maybe the OS 10.4.10. Digidesgn hasn't qualified this version yet. You should go to apple support and download OS 10.4.9
