ilok disconnects while using PT 10

Hey guys,

Whenever I launch PT 10, after minutes I get the Ilok error message: Error, missing Ilok authorization for Pro Tools 10, please insert, etc.... The weird thing is that I can use PT, but only for a couple of minutes before it crashes and the message pops up. This has never happened before.

Is the light on your iLok blinking or anything?

Have you tried using a different USB port?

Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing the iLok Manager?

Have you tried sync/repair in the iLok Manager?

Make sure you've disabled USB Power Saving for each port in Device Manager. Otherwise the computer may put the port to sleep and then your iloks going to be missing as far as PT is concerned.
