How can I control the volume automation of an audio track from an external controller sending CC11 (expression) thru MIDI Ch 1? Is it possible? Maybe using some HUI emulator? Thanks!

HUI emulation would be my best guess. What exactly are you trying to do? Using the 003 faders to control audio volume might be the best option. Or, if you have the rack version, a controller might be worth looking into. The cheapest option would be the Presonus Faderport and it works quite well for what it is. The Behringer BCF2000 is next up in price(some decent youtube video's show how to set it up). A used Command8 can still be under $500, and with PT7, you may not be able to use anything newer(like the Avid Artist series). And while there are some keyboard controllers with extra knobs and such, its still a guess as to which will work with a 6-year old version of software and OS.

Thnks for your reply. I actually have a mixing table sending volume Info On CC11. I need to use it for volume automation in one track of my old PT7LE ...
