Default Headphone Mixes

Is there anyway to setup a headphone mix using one output on the 001? the setup i used was bus 1 on send A to an aux input coming out of output 3. I heard material from both the left and right channels, but only in the left can. I suppose this would be beneficial if i was setting up a stage monitor or something. is there a way i can send dual mono using one output? is that the right question? i have a small headphone amp, however it only provides one mix per stereo input. I would like to get as many cue mixes as possible using as few outputs on the 001 as possible. Any solutions would be appreciated. Especially if i have the wrong idea all together

You have the aux idea right, however, if you plug your stereo cans directly into the outs on the back of the 001, you'll only hear sound from your left ear. I'd suggest plugging your headphone amp into the 001 via a mono to stereo (or more correctly, single to dual) adapter. That way, you'll only need a single 001 output per mono headphone mix.
