High Noise Floor on D Command / Xmon
Hey guys,
I just purchased a D Command ES and I really like the sound and convenience of the monitor section and Xmon but the high noise floor through all 3 sets of monitors I have hooked up is really annoying me. When the Xmon is muted on the box it stops it but not when you mute the desk. The noise doesn't get louder/quieter with the level control on the desk. I also seem to have to turn the volume pot past half way to get a good signal.... half way on my central station would make my ears bleed! I've tried 2 different cables to my monitors (12ft & 4ft) with no change. I read something about it possibly being the listen mics but they are switched off on the desk. All trims are factory settings. Any other suggestions? Also, how does the monitor section stand up to an Avocet? Thanks Wez |

Re: High Noise Floor on D Command / Xmon
No problems with noice here...
About the level, with the main, alt and mini you can hold down the button for a few secs, and then you can adjust the "base level" of that channel. |
