Version 10 drops and updates on v9 go cold!!

Well, I think most people kinda figured this would happen, but since V10 dropped, we're not seeing anything in the way of updates/hotfixes to v9. The window versions of PT is still a hot mess right now. Frequent CPU spikes, problems with multi core CPUs, vulgar issues with third party RTAS virtual instruments..and the list goes on. As a paying customer, the lack of support on P9 is frustrating, and the release version 10 after only 7 months on v9 is insulting. Terrible, terrible product support!

pay another $300 to keep playing
no guarantee that they will make this product stable
they are prob hard at work on PT11 by now

Since 9.0.6 was a dog for me, I am less bothered by this(staying at 9.0.3 with solid performance here). Plus, my rig rarely has any problems. Maybe its an issue with some piece of hardware(interface or in the computer)? Maybe you forgot some needed system tweak? Maybe some device driver needs an update? Not being a nag here, but a good portion of problems are related to running without proper hardware or proper system tweaks. Posting a Sandra report is often the key to getting the best help(something you may have already done). When asking for help(and lots of us are more than willing to try) the more info you give, the better the chances of success

I just went back to 9.0.3 from my trial of 9.0.6 had way too many issues for me to charge people to use. I'm with Albee 9.0.3 for me for now.

ps by the way all of you WAVES users......WAVES 9 does work with pro tools 9.0.3...I'm a trailblazer
