Put sync ref on every single track...how?
Hello Everbody,
I'm conforming an old session to a new picture change, and I swear some of my tracks are not copying in sync with on another. To confirm, what I'd like to do is put a sync pop at the end of my project on every single track to I can periodically check them to make sure they're all still in alignment. This has been driving me bat-sh*t crazy for a couple days now. No matter how careful I am, it seems my foley tracks start getting wonky. Thanks for any insight on how to quickly at a pop to about 115 tracks. Chris |

Re: Put sync ref on every single track...how?
Create new track with pop at location desired and route track to bus. Using alt key change inputs of all tracks to said bus. Record enable as many as you can at a time and print pop using destructive record. Once they're all done you'll have pops on all tracks at the same location.

Re: Put sync ref on every single track...how?
How about the simplest:
choose the one frame across all tracks Press Shift + Control + Opt + 3. Writes 1k tone to selected areas on timeline..

Thank you everybody who responded. Each option was better than what I was prepared to do. And PostProSound: you may profess to be merely an illusionist, but that trick was worthy of being called a magician, no doubt about it. Perfect.

Re: Put sync ref on every single track...how?
In addition if you were willing to use the key command twice at each end your mixers may love you.
Select all tracks except the first track for 1 frame shift+option+3 Select first track for 1 frame shift+control+option+3 Sync region on each track and 1 pop for printing. All round winner. |
