Reason public beta’s tend to work well too. They have a logging version.

They also stagger the amount of people allowed access to the beta which one would assume is to not overload the devs.

I don't know who to be more annoyed at because while Avid always trails, what is Apple even doing? I just looked at the page for Ventura and it's yet more iphone app type s*** and 10 ways to organize 100 distractions type s***.

Longing for a Snow Leopard type release again.

Will be there soon. Once they get rid of Intels once and for all.

Yeah I had to shut all that 'helpful' sh*t off. The last thing I want when I am recording/mixing is to have little red circles in the dock, counting how many times I am being texted and how many emails I need to read.

And when you disable Siri and dictation, and see it corespeechd still uploading crap to Apple. And when you disable News and sill see the news daemons chewing on stuff. Or yet again mdworker processes going haywire. Or the logging system trashing. Apple has a bloat problem they need to fix, and ya can't just get in a hard disable stuff easily because *security*.

Not that I think it is necessary, but if Protools indeed is native for Apple Silicon processors, it would not be a far stretch of imagination that it might be able to be made to run on an iPad Pro since it also uses an M1 processor. I realize that macOS and IOS have diverged as they evolved, but they branched from a version of OSX as a common ancestor. Now that Apple Silicon Mac can run IOS apps, there is some common ground across platforms. Again, I'm not saying it is a good idea, but interesting to imagine as I'm guessing some might find it appealing to mix or edit on a tablet some day. Just some food for thought.

I'd love to have ProTools on a touchscreen (iPad) for editing. As you said it's not exactly practical in the big picture, but a limited version could be keen for certain things.

A lot going on this time of year for many but dear Avid (I'm sure they're listening:) please release Native PT. We can handle a test spin after all this time. Getting kind of quiet around here. Thanks.
PS. Let it snow!
