There's no resistance, just prioritizing. There's a whole bunch of stuff to help with monitoring I want to do both in PT and the surfaces.

I see - I was basing the word "resistance" on Anthony's 6-month YouTube review wherein he says "Avid argued against it".

Looking back in another thread now, I see you, Eddie, specifically are receptive to the idea after having watched that same review - which is of course more than encouraging. I appreciate your openness, responsiveness, and active communication.

ha, I believe somewhere on the duc (in a different area) Kyle mentioned that assigning this knob to a master fader would be a bad idea. I can't for the life of me find the post.

So, how about assigning it to the default monitoring path? =)
