Pt and Focusrite 18i20 issue

Gday all.

I'm having trouble ( I think ) getting my focusrite 18i20 new gen talking to my pt12 First. When I go to setup and select playback engine engine all I get is " Focusrite USB ASIO" I don't get IO options and I'm certainly not getting in sound coming through to PT. I've got phantom power for the mics I'm using and levels coming through the interface but nothing on PT! I have downloaded the correct drivers as per Focusrite website but they don't show up on the setup menu...should they or just USB ASIO? It's driving me nuts! Any help would be appreciated.

I'm running windows 7 through my HP elitebook with i7 proccessor and 8gb RAM.

PT 12.3.1 with all the latest drivers.

This could be a limitation of PT [First as it only allows 2 live inputs.

Spot on Albee1952! I was unaware of this particular limitation. Thanks. I am a newbie on DAW and on a learning curve but enjoying the challenge.

Do you have PT12 or PT|First ? This section is wrong if you use the free PT version.
