LOOP Playback On / Off..?
I know how to turn Loop Playback ON, but is it possible to then turn it OFF again without stopping playback so the song will continue?
It's possible in other DAWs so I assume so in PT 12.6 but all the searches I've done only say how to initiate ON functions.

I don't think that is possible without stopping playback.

Just closed my session and to slack to boot up my system to have a gander but try ctrl+shift+L that is the shortcut to turn loop playback on and off maybe it will work in playback. I doubt it though.
If the progression is the same you could just keep playing in the loop and then use the trimmer tool as it is just one audio file. In other words you can extend the audio from the first loop as far out as you have recorded the software packages these as loops (clips) in the playlist however it is still just one audio file on HD until you do something destructive. Ciao
