Default CAB on/off

I have a rather stupid question, but i can not seem to find the answer.

My 11R amp2 output is going to my mesa boogie fifty/fifty and then to a stereo cab.

But i also use my 11R to record in PT. (10) But that always has the CAB's off because i have set that in my global options on my 11R. (outputs to amp, rig no cab i believe it was)

Now i just want to be able to switch easy between cab/no cab or just have the amp2 with no CAB and the main outputs and the recorded rig with the buildin CAB.

Anyone any idea's on how to accomplish this?

IF you're using a midi controller, you can assign a latching pedal CC# 71 with values of 0 and 127. Per the manual that would toggle cab/mic on and off.

Do you need post-amp FX going out to your Mesa? If not you can set your Output to Amp to 'Amp Out' which will pinch the signal from right before the cab block, leaving the rest of the rig signal intact for PT.

That worked like a charm. I set the output to amp to output2 and in PT i still get the rig with the CAB.

I lose the fx after the amp, but thats ok.

Thanks for the tip!
