Default Changing the sample rate with the eleven rack Icon?

I've moved from Windows to Mac and i noticed that i am unable to click on the eleven rack icon and change the sample rate through that as i did within windows. i know you can go through setup/playback engine and change it within pro tools and also within an applications audio settings, but it sounds like it defaults default to a higher setting when I close the application and run pro tools just as a hardware monitor. Is it my ears/fingers that are deceiving me and does the sample rate stay with the last used pro tools/applications playback settings or not? If you can open the sample rate from the system preferences/elevenrack icon you could know. Please assist with this. thanks.

I have the same thing.
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt.

What i did to remove allot of problems is to use my old Maudio as the standard soundcard in my mac.
That helped.

It seems that when you use the 11R as the main device it gets locked and therefor you cannot change it.

What happens if you turn off the Mac and the 11R and restart? does it work then?

Do you have the latest drivers for the 11R running? Have you tried a re-install of the drivers?

Hey Benoni, like your presets and videos. It doesn't have the option to change the Bit Rate via the eleven rack icon. You can click on the icon via the system preferences but it doesn't have the 'Bit Rate'. I should have worded it right - I MEANT THE BIT RATE. sorry.
