Default 11R Clock Source & 3.0 USB

The 11R plugged into a Usb 3.0 port will cause the audio signal to crash or start to distort after a few mins of play. I found i can duplicate the same problem by plugging the 11R into a Usb 2.0 port and setting the Clock Source to 44.1Khz. If I change the Clock back to 48Khz the problem is gone. I did plug into the usb3.0 and try to change the clock to 48Khz, But same thing happens. Would that be a 11R or the Usb Driver causing the Issue? I only have 1 shared ESata/USB2.0 Port and 2 USB3.0 Ports. I need the ESata for the External HD therefore only leaving me a USB3.0 for the 11R. I have an Expresscard/34 port so maybe a Expresscard/34 to USB2.0 is what i should try untill the USB3.0 thing gets figured out.

Sounds like you have a bad Eleven Rack. This is actually a known issue, and it fortunately has nothing to do with USB 3.0.

Please contact Avid Customer Support to request a quick replacement. Eventually, your Rack will stop passing audio entirely.

Sorry you got one of the early ones with this problem!
