I'm still holding out for the HDX card used to re-master DSOTM. Some serious history in that card...

Why would he?

Neither Foo Fighters nor Nirvana has any ties to that old block but the Neve console he bought made FF what it is today and is something he cherrish highly.

This console have no strings to them and probably a crapshoot ti serve and it is way to old and featureless for this century sound.

I would loved to have had a chance at buying this one. I've got the tech chops to fix whatever might be problematic with it. The only hassle becomes getting the necessary parts and even my fellow hams (amateur radio ops) might have problems coming up with the goods.

As far as 'this century's sound'? That's not what I would even think about using it for.

Sorry by the Dave G reference I meant David Gilmour Pinks guitarist

I see that both of those guys have the same initials.

But your right he must have a solid desk somewhere already in use that he prefers.....

If you're talking about Gilmour he has a monster of an old desk on the moored boat/barge that's on his property. I know they show it on one of his concert videos as part of the extras disk. Either 'A Night To Remember at Albert Hall' or the Gdansk dvd set.

Neve 88R, nice desk, I have the pleasure of using one regularly.
