Installing Strike
When installing strike is it best to put the content data on a seperate drive or does it matter? I haven't been able to find any mention of this in the manual or the website. My instinct syas a serate drive is best.
thanks randy |

Re: Installing Strike
I found my answer....after noticing there was ensentially no disk acvtivity when strike is playing and thinking hum,,,,this different than Ivory or BFD etc...I found the very last line in the "Optimizing Strike’s Performance for Your Pro Tools System" section of the read-me file that states:
"Since Strike uses the hard disk only for loading or saving files, Strike’s real-time performance is not affected by the hard drive (unlike instruments that apply disk streaming).." So I loaded everthing on the system drive and it works just fine..... Strike is one awesome drummer. If you've ever wished you had a bunch of good drum parts you could call up and jam with easily on the fly and still get a good sound with live inovation to boot...this is it.
