having also problems in shutting down system (after clean install of OS and PT11). Shutting down hangs--

activity monitor says:

QT OP Server
ProTools OP Server
ProTools QT Server
callservicesd
identityservicesd

all these threads are not responing

I might need to re-install everything. For sure NOT Yosemite with PT11

Video hangs for 2- 3 sec
Tried all kinds of codecs, but still same.

BUT ... PT 10.3.9 is works flawless

Just tried the newly released BM video desktop drivers 10.3.7 with 11.3.1 it looks to be as stable as PT 11.3.0 with BM 10.3.4. Had to try as sometimes the video playback was out of sync and it drives me crazy editing foley. No video hangs at the moment like we had with BM 10.3.5. Lunchbreak is over so back to work for now...

My findings for now is that these drivers/pt version combo is the best I had since 11.
Still some issues with image sync when using prores though. But most of the time it's ok.

Confirming also that DNxHD seems to be a bit more stable but not without problems... Sync issue chimes in now and then when stop an playback sequence in fast pace. @Avid: We call that editing someting we do on a daw now and then. ;-) [sarcasm off]
I also discovered that turning off gpu accelleration helps a lot for h264 codecs, which seem to be unusable until now.

Have had horrible problems since my update to PT 11.3.2. Haven't been able to use video at all. Tried to downgrade to Desktop Video 10.3.4 with no result. Now upgraded to 10.9.7 and it looks better. We'll se if it's good enough.
